The clinical cases can be separated into two large groups:
- Clinical cases in patient simulations
- Clinical cases in high fidelity simulation
Clinical cases in simulated patients are those in which we have a series of actors who will represent different clinical situations in all the six cases and in this way allow the student or professional an interaction with a situation and environment very close to the real.
On the other hand, clinical cases in high fidelity simulation will be those that will be represented by different simulation mannequins, with which we can represent various clinical situations from the most basic ones, such as resuscitation, to more complex situations such as emergency care. intensive care, endotracheal and retrograde intubation, needle cricothyroidotomy or cardiopulmonary resuscitation in children and adults, among others.
