Support and expand the application of the simulations program to the three degrees in the health field of the URV (Physiotherapy, Medicine and Nutrition and Dietetics).
Provide uniqueness in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the URV, as a center specialized in innovative teaching and evaluation methodology that guarantees the emergence of excellent health professionals in elements that make up the "health professional - patient" relationship. .
Support the specialized medical training program - MIR. Collaborate in the acquisition of specific skills and evaluation of doctors in the different medical and surgical specialties in training.

Warranty

Guarantee the health professional's ability to act in extreme, risky situations and the automated making of decisions with safety guarantees, both in the medical and surgical areas.

Contribution

Contribute to the training of professionals who ensure the safety of people, security forces, those responsible for extinguishing fires, transferring patients...
 

Research and innovation


Knowledge

Generate knowledge in the field of evaluating the competencies of medical professionals and their specialties, as well as in all professions in the health field.

Design

Contribute to the design of evaluation mechanisms in aspects of clinical judgment, technical skills, doctor-patient relationship, communication skills, ethical aspects and professionalism.

Applications

Generate teaching support applications to facilitate self-learning, aimed at both specific groups and the general population.

Results

Generate instruments for analyzing the impact on health outcomes of the actions carried out.
   

Knowledge transfer


Technical assistance

Support and technical assistance to public and/or private institutions, companies, patient associations, etc. on issues of interest to the parties, especially everything related to the health and safety of people, an essential part of their well-being.

Collaboration

Collaborate and facilitate training activities in simulation environments with professionals from other fields and with citizen groups or groups that are interested (teachers, professors, university students, monitors, patient groups, security managers, equipment workers that gather crowds - theaters, sports halls, airports, fair halls...).

Publications

Encourage the editing of works and publications, as well as the development of educational materials of interest to the health sector and especially those related to patient safety.

Development

Contribute to the development of Health Plans and the effective application of action protocols.

Stake

Promote the organization of debate forums, courses, and postgraduate courses. Share projects and facilitate the participation of other experts in simulation and educational methodology.

Assessment

Collaborate with other degrees to use simulation instruments to acquire and evaluate skills that involve the interrelation of people (Pedagogy, Nursing, Economic Sciences, Law, Engineering...).

Accreditation

Contribute to the definition of the doctor's professional career and its reaccreditation.

Analysis

Analyze the impact and repercussions on health outcomes of training actions in the subsequent practice of professionals. Analysis of the impact on the territory of the knowledge achieved.

Participate in opinion forums, debates and media on these issues.

Participate with health institutions through training in the application of care codes and specific health plans (Heart Attack Code, Stroke Code,...)
