Introduction

Since 1995, the URV has been using patient simulations in the medical training of its students, facilitating students' training in communicative skills and competencies that go beyond the theoretical knowledge of medicine. In this report we end up in this peculiar system, it disconnects per molts and faces little use in Spanish territory.

Simulate to learn

The Simulation Training and Innovation Center began its journey in 2016. However, it has professionals with more than 20 years of experience in medical simulation.

This center provides ideal conditions to work in medical simulation environments with any of the basic clinical skills. The maximum intention of the center is to offer excellent training conditions to train health professionals competently and thus reduce the rate of medical error.

In clinical simulation there are several key points to take into account to culminate in a successful clinical simulation.

All these key points are reviewed and improved over time, since the experience of the different clinical cases that we simulate, as well as the training of all the simulated patients and the various actions of our students are great pillars to improve and outlining the clinical simulation technique.

The different clinical simulation cases are very important for our students, since they prepare them for real situations that they will have to solve throughout their professional career.
