The Sant Joan de Reus University Hospital is the reference hospital for the Baix Camp - Priorat basic health area.
With 93,000 square meters and 120 million euros of investment, it is the most ambitious project for the city. It is materialized in 2010, under the impulse of the Reus City Council and the Generalitat of Catalonia.
The center has the professional expertise and the necessary technological equipment to provide the best service to each user. Així, it is prepared to be a reference in certain specialties such as Oncology, Bariatric Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Medicine or Thoracic Surgery, all of which present its own university vocation.
