Basic Life Support in SchoolsDescription "Basic Life Support Schools" Program recognized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia. Objectives
How we collaborate The CFIS collaborates with the development of this program in Camp de Tarragona through the following lines of action. |
UCIKidsDescription In order to reduce the state of shock that can occur for children/visiting a family member admitted to the Intensive Care Units (ICU), the staff of the ICU Service of the San Juan de Reus University Hospital, together with the CFIS, has developed an application where the ICU spaces and its equipment are presented. Currently, the HUSJR ICU Service has a tablet with the application downloaded. It is used regularly by the nursing team before children are admitted onto the service. In addition, any other person or hospital with an ICU service can download it (free access) for their own use. Objectives This educational application aims for children to adapt more quickly to the ICU environment (sounds, stress, equipment, etc.) and therefore, the situation presented by their family member does not impact them as much. How we collaborate The CFIS collaborates in the design and development of the mobile app for the main mobile platforms (Android and iOS) |
Programa de simulaciónDescription Simulation program of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the URV. Objectives Train all our students of the Medicine, Physiotherapy and Nutrition degrees in different clinical situations. Acquire and/or strengthen empathy in the face of different medical problems or scenarios. Prepare them to carry out future ACOE tests. How we collaborate We provide different multimedia learning classrooms for classes, courses or talks. We have clinical simulation laboratories with all the necessary simulation equipment to recreate different clinical environments. Technical room for recording all the clinical simulations that our students carry out to later view them and carry out some type of assessment if necessary. |
